Our spring is located in rural Highlands County, Florida. The area around our spring site is unspoiled and natural; much like it has been for centuries.
Source of Water
Purah Spring Water is unique from other brands because of the unusual hydrological dynamics that occur here naturally. At our spring, water located deep in the Florida aquifer is driven up to the surface through 75 to 100 feet of fine crystals of sand known as “sugar sand”. This sugar sand is nature’s finest filtration system and thoroughly removes impurities from the water as it travels it’s way up to the surface. This amazing process is what gives Purah it’s crisp, clean, taste.
Qualify of Water
When analyzing the quality of spring water most experts agree on two important factors:
The first factor is the pH count. When looking at a water’s pH count, the higher the number, the better. With a pH count of 8.2 Purah water is higher than many other well known brands and has the health benefits that people are actively seeking.
The second factor is Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). With TDS, the lower the number, the better. Purah has a TDS reading of 12 mg/L; well below most other better known brands.
